K154-YOU — Combating Hate Speech Through LGBTQIA+ Youth Participation
An Erasmus+ project bringing LGBTQIA+ young people into youth participation work to counter hate speech, developing a hate-speech toolkit with KyivPride as a confirmed partner -- still looking for more partner organisations before applications close.
About this project
K154-YOU is an Erasmus+ project centred on LGBTQIA+ youth participation, aimed at combating hate speech and raising awareness of the discrimination LGBTQIA+ young people face. KyivPride is already confirmed as an official partner.
The application is coordinated by Astra, Elysium+'s German branch, and will be submitted through JUGEND für Europa, the German National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.
Among the project's planned outputs is a toolkit for youth workers and organisations to recognise, respond to and counter anti-LGBTQIA+ hate speech.
We are currently looking for more partner organisations to help shape and co-apply for this project — details on further themes and target countries are still being finalised. Reach out via the form below if your organisation works on LGBTQIA+ rights, youth participation, or anti-hate-speech education and would like to get involved.
